A quick and easy 15-minute appetizer featuring spicy jalapeños stuffed with a creamy cheese mixture and wrapped in crispy bacon, cooked to perfection in an air fryer or oven.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 68 medium jalapeño peppers
  • 8 oz full-fat cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 2 tbsp fresh chives, finely chopped
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1216 slices thick-cut bacon

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) or air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Wash and dry jalapeños, then slice in half lengthwise. Remove seeds and membranes.
  3. In a bowl, mix softened cream cheese, cheddar cheese, chives, garlic powder, and black pepper until smooth.
  4. Stuff each jalapeño half with the cheese mixture.
  5. Wrap each stuffed jalapeño half with a slice of bacon, securing the end if necessary.
  6. Cook in air fryer for 10-12 minutes or in oven for 15-18 minutes until bacon is crispy and cheese is bubbly.
  7. Let cool for 2-3 minutes before serving.

Notes

For milder bites, remove all seeds and membranes from the jalapeños. Ensure cream cheese is at room temperature for easier mixing. If using an oven, place on a wire rack over a baking sheet to allow air circulation. Do not microwave leftovers as it makes the bacon soggy; reheat in air fryer or oven.
