Easy Halloween Candy Corn Bark: Best Festive Treat

Easy Halloween Candy Corn Bark - featured image

A quick, no-bake Halloween treat made by melting white chocolate, adding orange and yellow swirls, and topping with candy corn. It’s a simple, crowd-pleasing snack that requires minimal effort and ingredients.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups (12 ounces) white chocolate chips
  • 1 cup candy corn
  • Orange gel food coloring
  • Yellow gel food coloring
  • Optional: Pretzel pieces, peanuts, or white chocolate chips for texture
  • Optional: Halloween sprinkles (orange, black, white)

Instructions

  1. Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat.
  2. Melt white chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl using 30-second intervals on medium power, stirring thoroughly between each interval until smooth and glossy.
  3. Divide the melted chocolate into three separate bowls. Leave one bowl plain for the white base.
  4. Add orange gel food coloring to the second bowl and mix until vibrant. Add yellow gel food coloring to the third bowl and mix until bright.
  5. Pour the plain white chocolate onto the prepared baking sheet and spread into an even layer about 1/4 inch thick.
  6. Drizzle the orange and yellow chocolate over the wet white chocolate base.
  7. Use a toothpick or skewer to gently swirl the colors together to create a marbled effect.
  8. Immediately scatter candy corn over the wet chocolate, pressing gently to adhere. Add optional mix-ins or sprinkles now.
  9. Let the bark set at room temperature for 30 minutes, or in the refrigerator for 15 minutes.
  10. Once hardened, break into irregular pieces by hand.

Notes

Ensure all utensils and bowls are completely dry to prevent the chocolate from seizing. Use gel food coloring instead of liquid to avoid altering the chocolate’s texture. If the chocolate becomes too thick after adding coloring, stir in a teaspoon of coconut oil or vegetable shortening. Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to two weeks.
