A quick, no-bake appetizer made with tortillas, cream cheese, ham, and cheddar. Perfect for parties, last-minute hunger, or using up leftovers.

Ingredients

  • Large flour tortillas (burrito-sized)
  • Softened full-fat cream cheese
  • Deli-style ham slices (Virginia or honey ham)
  • Shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • Dijon mustard (optional)
  • Fresh chives or green onions, chopped

Instructions

  1. Lay tortillas on a cutting board. If stiff, microwave for 10 seconds to soften.
  2. Spread softened cream cheese evenly over the tortilla, leaving a half-inch border at the top edge.
  3. Lay ham slices over the cream cheese, overlapping slightly for full coverage.
  4. Sprinkle shredded cheddar evenly over the ham.
  5. Drizzle Dijon mustard and sprinkle chives on top (if using).
  6. Roll the tortilla tightly from the bottom edge, tucking in sides as you go.
  7. Wrap the roll tightly in plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least one hour (or overnight).
  8. Unwrap and slice into 1-inch pieces using a sharp knife.
  9. Arrange on a platter and serve cold or at room temperature.

Notes

Ensure cream cheese is softened to room temperature for easy spreading. Do not skip the chilling step as it helps the pinwheels hold their shape for clean slicing. Use a sharp knife to prevent crushing the rolls. Can be frozen before slicing for later use.
