A curated, stress-free autumn charcuterie board featuring aged cheeses, cured meats, fresh figs, and honey. This easy-to-assemble platter balances sweet, salty, and crunchy textures for a festive yet simple hosting solution.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz Aged Gouda
  • 1 wheel Brie or Camembert
  • 8 oz Sharp Cheddar
  • 6 oz Prosciutto or Salami
  • 6 oz Genoa Salami
  • 1 lb Fresh Black Mission Figs
  • 2 medium Apples (Honeycrisp or Fuji)
  • 1 cup Walnuts or Pecans, toasted
  • 1/2 cup Honey (local wildflower recommended)
  • 1 box Crackers (water crackers or seeded flatbreads)
  • 2 sprigs Fresh Rosemary

Instructions

  1. Prepare the fruits and vegetables: Wash and dry figs and apples. Slice apples into thin wedges and leave figs whole or halved.
  2. Arrange the cheeses: Place cheeses on the board first. Position the Brie centrally and cut Gouda and Cheddar into cubes or triangles, leaving some blocks whole for visual interest.
  3. Fold the meats: Loosely fold prosciutto or roll salami slices into rosettes to create height and texture. Place meats next to the cheeses.
  4. Fill the gaps: Cluster crackers on the board and scatter nuts in empty spaces. Tuck apple slices and figs between other items.
  5. Add final touches: Drizzle honey over the figs and cheeses just before serving. Garnish with fresh rosemary sprigs.

Notes

Serve at room temperature for best flavor; take cheeses out of the fridge 30 minutes prior. Use odd numbers for arrangement. Do not drizzle honey on crackers to prevent sogginess. For vegetarian options, omit meats and add roasted vegetables or marinated artichoke hearts.
